<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus for lakes and marshes which has a simple structure, efficiently adsorbs phosphorus which comes to a nutrient source for harmful organism such as water-boom and, at the same time, oxidatively decomposes the harmful organism itself such as water-bloom. <P>SOLUTION: Raw water flowing-in from a water intake path 9 is violently fed from a raw water discharging cylinder 6 into a water current introduction cylinder 3 by a pump 7. Granular photocatalyst 1 which is sedimentation-deposited on the bottom part of a photocatalyst storing vessel 2 is sucked into the water current introduction cylinder 3 by the negative pressure generated thereon. The raw water mixed with the granular photocatalyst 1 is spouted out of an upper part opening of the water current introduction cylinder 3 and is scattered in every direction. The raw water is allowed to flow down through the upper surface of a solar light reflection plate 5, therein, the mixed granular photocatalyst 1 receives solar light and reflected light thereof and exerts photocatalyst action, adsorbs the phosphorus on the own surface and, at the same time, oxidatively decomposes the harmful organism itself such as water-bloom. The treated water overflows from the upper end of the photocatalyst storing vessel 2 and is returned back to the lakes and marshes through a water discharge path 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
