FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to conveyors with endless traction members, particularly, to apron conveyors designed for operation at open cast mining. Proposed apron conveyor has frame, installed on frame drive and idle shafts, upper and lower support rollers and load-carrying member consisting of hinge-connected plates. Said-load-carrying member is vertically closed and it rests on support rollers. Upper support rollers are installed under extreme units of connection of each pair of plates. Ratio between upper support rollers and diameter of roller is 2.2 - 2.4, and ratio of pitch between upper support roller to pitch between lower support rollers is 0.3-0.5. EFFECT: increased service life and improved reliability of conveyor in operation. 1 dwg |
