METHOD FOR EVALUATING ADEQUACY OF WRIST'S COLLATERAL CIRCULATION AT DETECTING POSSIBILITY FOR SAFE APPLICATION OF RADIAL ARTERY IN CORONARY SURGERY

FIELD: medicine, coronary surgery. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with operations of coronary shunting. Upon volar surface of thumb's distal phalanx of tested wrist one should fix sensing device of laser doppler flowmeter to measure initial capillary circulation in soft tissues before arterial pinching. The n one should register the stoppage of capillary circulation during pinching of both radial and ulnar arteries. Then ulnar artery is loosened by continuing to pinch radial one and it is necessary to register alteration in capillary circulation in wrist at circulation due to ulnar artery. One should observe dynamics of capillary circulation. If values of capillary circulation at pinched radial artery are equal or above initial circulation one should evaluate wrist's collateral circulation to be adequate.
