PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to allow for ease of assembly by improving the structure of flat electrode for emitting electron beams, and accuracy of deflection of electron beam, while reducing costs and installation space. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube(20) comprises a front panel(21), a rear panel(25), a wire cathode ray(26), and an electrode member. The front panel(21) includes a rear surface on which red, green and blue phosphors are deposited. The rear panel(25) is coupled to the rear surface of the front panel in such a manner that the space formed between the front panel and the rear panel is vacuumed. The wire cathode ray(26) is disposed on the rear panel in such a manner that the wire cathode ray is opposed to the phosphors and emits electron beams. The electrode member deflects the electron beam emitted from the wire cathode ray to the phosphors. The electrode member is a block electrode member(27) where electrodes are stacked and integrated.
