WET TYPE ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM USING NONVOLATILE INK CARRIER

PURPOSE: A wet type electrophotographic image forming system using a nonvolatile ink carrier is provided to restrict generation of a smell caused by carrier vapor using a nonvolatile high-concentration developer. CONSTITUTION: A wet type electrophotographic image forming system includes a photosensitive drum(51), a charging device(52) for increasing the potential of the photosensitive drum to a charging potential, an exposer(55) for irradiating a beam to the photosensitive drum to form an electrostatic latent image on the drum, and a developer supply for supplying a developer obtained by mixing a high-concentration ink and a nonvolatile carrier to the photosensitive drum. The system further includes a developing device(53) for providing with the developer and forming a high-density developing film to develop the electrostatic latent image, a transfer belt(59) for transferring the developed image to a recording medium, and a fixing device(54) for fixing the transferred image onto the recording medium at a temperature lower than the flashing point of the carrier.
