FLAT-PLATE DISPLAY APPARATUS HAVING BLACK MATRIX AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A flat-plate display apparatus having a black matrix and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the manufacturing process by selectively ion-implanting impurities into a transparent conductive film to change the penetration degree of the transparent conductive film. CONSTITUTION: An insulating substrate has a first region(302) to be provided with a pixel electrode(390) and a second region(301) to be provided with a thin film transistor. The pixel electrode(390) is formed on the first region(302) and a black matrix is formed on the second region(301) by using a half tone mask. An insulating film(360) is formed on a front of the insulating substrate. The thin film transistor connected to the pixel electrode(390) is formed on a part opposite to the black matrix of the insulating film(360) of the second region(301). A flat film is formed on the front of the insulating substrate. An opening unit for exposing a part of the pixel electrode(390) by etching the flat film is formed.
