<p>A cosmetic composition for use in cleansing and conditioning the skin of a human being that comprises (A) 35% to 80% by weight of emollient materiel; (B) a water-soluble surface active agent in a proportion selected from the range of 0.4% to 8.0% by weight; and (C) a water-insoluble C12-C18 monocarboxylic acid salt, the weight ratio of said emollient material to said carboxylic acid salt being in the range of about 7:1 to about 1:1.</p> |
