METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DIAGNOSING HOST AND PERIPHERAL DEVICES

PURPOSE: A method and device for diagnosing a host and peripheral devices is provided to transmit a record to a vender of a host or peripheral devices in the case that a trouble is generated in the host or peripheral devices by diagnosing the host and the peripheral devices periodically and storing the record with respect to the diagnosis result. CONSTITUTION: An automatic diagnosis device automatically and generally diagnoses states of peripheral devices connected to a host periodically in accordance with a diagnosis period set by a vender of the peripheral devices or a user(10). A diagnosis result storing device stores diagnosis results being transmitted from the automatic diagnosis device according to diagnosis orders and diagnosis time(20). If a trouble is generated in the host or the peripheral devices(30), the automatic diagnosis device transmits the record to a client managing system of the vender through a user interface(40).
