<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device which improves detection precision of a collision condition of a first rotary member and a second rotary member as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In this power transmission device in which the first rotary member and the second rotary member are mutually engaged and the first rotary member and the second rotary member are mutually connected so as to transmit power, it is provided with a relative rotation condition discrimination means (step S1, step S2, step S3) for discriminating a relative rotation condition of the first rotary member and the second rotary member and a collision condition discrimination means (step S6) for discriminating a collision condition in an engaging part of the first rotary member and the second rotary member based on the results of discrimination of the relative rotation condition of the first rotary member and the second rotary member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
