DRIVING METHOD OF PASSIVE TYPE ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DIODE DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a passive type organic light emitting diode display.

SOLUTION: (A) A plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of data lines are disconnected from respective scanning line driven chip and data line driven chip. (B) When the scanning line driven chip provides a scanning signal to a scanning line, the scanning line and the scanning line driven chip are synchronously connected. (C) At the moment when the scanning signal is interrupted, the line and the chip are disconnected. (D) Another scanning signal is supplied to another scanning line by the chip after the chip is delayed for a prescribed time and the other scanning line is synchronously connected with the chip when the chip provides the other scanning signal. (E) At the moment when the other scanning signal is interrupted, the other scanning line and the chip are disconnected. Steps (B) to (E) are repeatedly executed until the scanning operations are completed for the plurality of the scanning lines.
