<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of automatically designating a storage form of image data, without complicated operation, without being attendant on deterioration in image due to companding of the image data by selecting a photographing mode of a developed film. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera to which an apparatus to take close-up photograph for capturing an imaged image on a developed film is mounted or having such the function stores images in an image data compression form capable of reversible compression processing not implementing compression processing of the image data or not causing deterioration in demodulated data through the designation of the close-up photographing mode for imaging the image on the developed film. Or the digital camera stores images in an image data compression form capable of reversible compression processing not implementing compression processing of the image data or not causing deterioration in demodulated data when the presence/absence of the close-up photographing apparatus to capture the imaged image on the developed film is detected and the mount state is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
