The anchoring system, designed to hold a replaceable elastomer covered sleeve (23) in place on a carrier cylinder (21), uses a removable flange (12) with at least two keys (13) that engage with wedging grooves (18) made within the thickness of the sleeve, the flange itself being fixed to the cylinder by bolts (16) that form a rigid assembly. The flange is made in two sections joined together along an inclined parting plane (22), and has four curved slots (15) for the bolts. An outer concentric ring can be fitted over the cylinder end, having triangular-section ribs that engage with the elastomer material.
