PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of suppressing interference of a radio signal. SOLUTION: This radio communication system is provided with a first radio base station 2, a smart antenna 3, a device 4 for control and a second radio base station 5. The smart antenna 3 has an array antenna 6 and a smart antenna part 7. The smart antenna part 7 has a weight storing part 11, a beam forming part 12, an RSSI (received signal strength indication) detecting part 13, an input-output part 14, and a smart antenna control part 15. The device 4 for control has a packet receiving power measuring part 21, a weight control part 22 and a packet transmission instructing part 23. In this case, interference with other radio base stations can be reduced because weight information is updated on the basis of radio signals from the other radio base stations using a channel giving interference, such as the same channel and an adjacent channel.
