<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recycling a particulate filter in which a state where an added fuel cannot be completely treated in a catalytic oxidization of the filter is surely avoided. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recycling the particulate filter comprises the steps of adding the fuel into an exhaust gas at an upstream side from the catalytic recycling type particulate filter 6 prepared on the way of an exhaust tube 4, burning the collected particulate by a reaction heat when the added fuel is oxidation reacted in the catalytic oxidization of the filter 6, and forcibly recycling the filter 6. In this method, when a target value of an amount of adding fuel decided based on a driving state is abruptly increased over a predetermined amount of the change, the fuel addition is gradually variably controlled so that the amount of the added fuel is gradually increased so as to hit the target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
