PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice activated sound recorder enabling easy confirmation of recorded contents even when recording is under way using the voice activated sound recorder. SOLUTION: The voice activated sound recorder judges whether or not the level of input sound signals is higher than the prescribed level, and outputs only the input sound signals to be recorded by a recording medium to outside as monitoring signals.
