PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pump enabling cost reduction and miniaturization of the entire pump by using an elastic sealing material. SOLUTION: A water pump 10 is provided with impellers 40, in which a casing-sand invasion prevention 52 comprising a shake-off part 52A and an extension part 52B is integrally formed. In the constitution, an opening 54 opened radially to the outside is formed. In a motor housing 16, a storing part 56 in a labyrinth structure is formed, in which the extension part 52B is inserted. Consequently, even if the casting sand 50 invades in a pump chamber 36, the sand can be shaken off from the opening 54 by the centrifugal force. When the amount of the sand 50 is too much to be shaken off completely, the sand can be stored in the storing part 56. Thus, a rubber oil-seal 48 can be employed due to such multiple protections.
