发明名称 LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DRIVING METHOD
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce flicker of a liquid crystal display device by compensating for a kick-back voltage which nonlinearly varies on a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with a liquid crystal panel 100 which includes a plurality of gate lines, data lines, thin film transistors, pixel electrodes and common electrodes, a gate driving section 200 which applies gate voltages to the gate lines to turn on/off the thin film transistors and a data driving section 300 which applies data voltages that indicate image signals to the data lines. A common voltage which successively becomes larger from a near portion is applied to a nearest region (x1) of the section 200 to a farthest region (x5) on the liquid crystal panel 100. By supplying mutually different common voltages depending on the location of the liquid crystal panel, the flicker generated by kick-back voltages is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
