PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of components by removing restrictions from the design of an interphone master device. SOLUTION: The interphone master device 1 has on an upper case 2a an operation button 3 such as a handsfree call button for answering a call made by a visitor through an interphone slave device 20 with a camera 21; and the operation button is pivoted on the upper case of the interphone master equipment to be opened and closed and a setting switch 4 is so arranged that it is hidden behind the operation button when the operation button is closed and exposed to be operated when the operation switch is opened. The operation button has a lock claw 5 to be engaged with the upper case so that the operation button is not opened when the setting switch is not operated, and the upper case has an engagement groove 6 where the lock claw is locked and is provided with an insert part 7 for inserting an unlock rod 8 for disengaging the lock claw from the engagement groove.
