<p>A poster frame for a poster sign, which is made of a closed hollow profile (6) of aluminium in top, bottom and sides, is assembled at the corners by means of connecting pieces. To accommodate the hollow profiles (6) the back has an attached thin metal plate with a width a little larger than that of a hollow profile (6) to which metal plate a transparent plate (2) can be attached, which covers a poster by means of a strip of magnetic tape stuck along the outer edge. A hollow profile (6), preferably in the bottom of the frame, has a slot (8) at its top along the back edge. In this hollow profile there is inserted one or more springy elements (9) embodied with a projecting ridge (10), which can be accommodated in a groove (11) in a plane plate member (12) of a thickness approximately equal to the width of the slot (8), a width which is larger than the width of the hollow profile (6) and a length a little shorter than the free length of profile (6) between two connecting pieces. The plate (2) is attached to the plate member (12). Along the other edges the plate (2) is attached to the frame by means of magnetic tape. When a poster is to be exchanged, the plate (2) can be bent outwards at the upper edge of the plate member (12), and this prevents the plate (2) from being stolen.</p> |
