A given number of uprights (2) resting on an underlay are joined together in pairs by length supports forming part of a floor or ceiling construction. Cables (6) anchored to the underlay are guided over the top ends of the uprights above the length supports. Cross-direction supports with top sides forming part of the floor or ceiling construction are placed on top of the length supports. An Independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing the support system.
