The closed pneumatic system has at least one accumulator (1), in which is provided a gaseous medium under a threshold temperature at least partially in liquid physical condition and/or in a form bound chemically to a liquid or solid substance (4) such as zeolith, and a chamber (2) with a variable volume and in the form of a pneumatic cylinder or inflatable cushion connected to the accumulator. The accumulator is heated to a temperature which is greater than the threshold temperature. A valve (6) is fitted between the accumulator and hollow chamber connected to it.
