REMOTE CONTROLLER FOR HOME NETWORK

PURPOSE: A remote controller for a home network is provided to easily perform a program upgrade and a product maintenance. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(41) inputs various control commands for controlling home network products by a user. An LCD(42) displays an image including each product-classified control picture. An LCD driving unit(43) drives the LCD(42). An antenna(46-1) and an RF transmitting/receiving unit(46-2) for transmitting and receiving an RF signal through the antenna(46-1) are fabricated in an RF module(46) by one body. A JTAG(Joint Test Action Group) interface(48) exchanges various data including remote controller program data with the outside. A CPU(47) controls the LCD driving unit(43) so that the product control picture is displayed by previously stored image information according to a previously set operation program, and controls the RF module(46) so that the RF signal corresponding to the control command inputted through the key input unit(41) is transmitted. The CPU(47) corrects or upgrades an internal program by data inputted through the JTAG interface(48).
