PURPOSE: A device and a method for learning language using voice recognition, and a storing medium thereof are provided to evaluate a pronunciation of a learner by using a voice recognition technology, and to offer a dynamic learning environment by automatically moving to a suitable situation according to the ability of the learner. CONSTITUTION: A storing medium(102) stores data and a program for learning the language. A CD player(104) plays the data stored in a CD-ROM and transfers the data to a processor(114). A display(106) displays diverse situation screens, scores, and an operation state for the learning as a graphic or a text by the control of the processor(114). A speaker(108) outputs an audio signal after converting into an audible sound. A microphone(112) converts a voice signal pronounced by the learner into an electric signal and transfers the voice signal to the processor(114). The processor(114) controls the whole operation by an input unit(110), performs the evaluation by comparing the voice signal with the reference data read from the CD player(104), and displays the result on the display(106). |
