Business card information is transmitted to a business information server 28 by pressing a button included in a page of a business card exchange server 22 at a user terminal 18. A cookie (including a cookie ID (user identifying information) as its content) indicating that the user has been authenticated is simultaneously transmitted to the business information server 28. An information registration assisting database 30 stores a cookie ID and an intranet site URL (access information) in association with each other, so that the intranet site URL corresponding to the received cookie ID can be read out. Based on the read out intranet site URL and the business card information already received, link information is generated for requesting registration of the business card information with an address book function of a groupware.
