PURPOSE: A runoff reduction system connected with a gutter is provided to prevent the damage caused by floods and to simplify maintenance works. CONSTITUTION: The runoff reduction system is connected with a gutter of the roof as the various shapes of a pipe to discharge initial storm water to a runoff outlet in the shape of a weir or an orifice, to restrain the outflow caused by an increase in storm water to make a regular quantity of storm water flow under the roof, and to overflow and discharge the remaining storm water up the reduction system.
