<p>PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for treating wastewater using a fluidized-bed bioreactor for increasing treatment efficiency by preventing filter clogging and reducing treatment time, and increasing management efficiency of wastewater treatment apparatus and method. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of treating wastewater while mechanically fluidizing microbial carrier and returning wastewater under aerobic fermentation condition. The apparatus comprises a housing, a V-shape compartment with biomass discharge holes(5) installed in the housing for dividing inside of the housing into a fluidized-bed bioreactor(12) at an upper portion and a settling chamber(13) at a lower portion, microbial carrier(3) filled in the fluidized-bed bioreactor(12), an agitator(4) installed at the center portion of the housing, a motor(9) for driving the agitator(4), a wastewater inlet pipe(2), a wastewater distributing nozzles(1) installed above the microbial carrier(3) and connected to the wastewater inlet pipe(2) for sprinkling wastewater onto the microbial carrier(3), an air supply pipe(6) under the fluidized-bed bioreactor(12) for supplying air to the microbial carrier(3), an air outlet(10) formed at an upper portion of the housing, a drain pipe(14) connected to the settling chamber(13), a pump(8) for returning the decant water of the settling chamber(13) to the wastewater inlet pipe(2), and a sludge drain pipe(15) connected to the bottom of the housing.</p> |
