PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylen elastomer excellent in heat resistance, impact absorption, transparency, heat-sealability and anti-blocking. SOLUTION: The polypropylen elastomer comprises (a) 50-95 mol% of a propylene unit and 5-50 mol% of an ethylene unit, (b) has a triad tacticity of not less than 90.0%, as determined by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR, of the chain of the head-to- tail bonded ethylene units, (c) has a positional irregularity unit ratio of not less than 0.5% due to 2,1-insertion of propylene monomers and a positional irregularity unit ratio of not more than 0.5% due to 1,3-insertion of propylene monomers of the total inserted propylene as determined by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR, and (d) has a limiting viscosity of 0.1-12 dl/g as measured in decalin at 135°C.
