PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tightly closable lid capable of being easily opened and closed and keeping a desired tightness even when it is opened and closed again. SOLUTION: The tightly closable lid has an outer circumferential wall 13 being in contact with an outer surface of an opening portion of the container 1 formed into one body and circular projections 17a to 17h each engaging with the opening margin 12 of the container formed on the inner surface of the outer circumferential wall wherein the circumferential projections are separated into plural pieces by arranging a plurality of cuts 18a to 18h at an arbitrary interval in the circumferential direction and the circular projections can be alternately removed by forming thin groove 19a to 19h alternately by turns on the down side and upper side of the separated circular projections and pulling and tearing off the down side from the thin grooves.
