<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-pressurized utensil which is simply structured with a small number of parts and prevents a gas from leaking and further, exhibits high moistureproofness only in a necessary region, so that the performance of the writing utensil can be prevented from being deteriorated due to the wetting of a barrel during using the writing utensil for writing, and a refill for a writing utensil. <P>SOLUTION: This gas-pressurized writing utensil comprises a tubular body 14, with an open rear part, which has a writing tip 10 fitted to the apex and internally stores an ink 12 to be supplied to the writing tip 10 and a storage barrel 18, with a closed rear end, which has a space formed communicating with the open rear part 14b of the tubular body 14 and envelops at least part of the tubular body 14. The storage barrel 18 is made of a material exhibiting low gas permeability or gas impermeability, and the space formed between the tubular body 14 and the storage barrel 18 is hermetically filled with a pressurizing gas. Further, a moistureproof layer 18e is transferred to or printed on, or applied to or vapor-deposited on at least part of the outer surface of the storage barrel 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
