PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an egg container sealingly closed to keep a freshness of chicken eggs and restrict bad odor to be generated when the sealed portion is opened. SOLUTION: There is provided an egg container formed by a thin-walled synthetic resin sheet having a body section 1 and a lid section 2 that can be opened or closed and connected through a foldable connecting portion 3, wherein some notches 11 where chicken eggs are put there are formed at both body section 1 and lid section 2, and some flange sections 13, 23 are formed at a circumferential edge of the container. One of the flanges of the body section 1 and the lid section 2 is formed with protrusions 14, and the other flange is formed with some steps 24 fitted to the protrusions 14. A sheet having deodorant mixed in it is used as the thin-walled synthetic resin sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
