PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution which can ensure a loading space while it is equipped with a charger, in a vehicle for work of electric drive type driving by an electric motor an oil hydraulic pump operating a hydraulic actuator of a work device by supplying a pressure of oil thereto. SOLUTION: This electric drive high lift work vehicle 1 has on a car body a boom type high lift work device operated by a hydraulic actuator 50 of a turn motor 51, a boom hoisting cylinder 52, etc., to operate the work device by supplying a pressure of operating oil to this hydraulic actuator from an oil hydraulic pump driven by an electric drive by electric power of a power battery 42, the high lift work vehicle 1 is constituted by arranging a hydraulic oil supply unit 43 comprising the electric motor and the oil hydraulic pump in a sideward lower part of the car body and arranging an electric power supply unit 42 comprising a motor control device and a charger on an outrigger box of an outrigger jack 60.
