<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wheel drive controller in which a secondary drive means becomes a load of a main drive means, decrease of durability of a clutch and the secondary drive means can be prevented and increase in an energy consumption can be prevented in the controller in which main drive wheels are driven by the main drive means and driven wheels are driven by the secondary drive means. <P>SOLUTION: The four-wheel drive controller comprises a rear side clutch 7 provided between rear wheels RRW and a motor 6, an arithmetic unit 10a for controlling an intermission switching of the clutch 7 based on a running state of a vehicle, and a motor rotational speed sensor 11 for detecting a rotational speed of the motor 6. In this controller, the unit 10a conducts a rotational speed dealing control for operating to disconnect the clutch 7 when the rotational speed detected by the sensor 11 exceeds a rotational speed threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
