PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbent which is excellent in carbon monoxide selective adsorption and reversible adsorption. SOLUTION: A carbon monoxide adsorbent is prepared by making a carrier consisting of aluminum oxide and zinc oxide carry copper. The carrier contains 6.5×10<-6> -16×10<-6> mole of copper per 1 m<2> specific surface area of the carrier, and the mole ratio of zinc to copper (Zn/Cu) is 1/1-1/20. |
