<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time in which an air bag is developed into a complete shape, to effectively absorb impact energy from the outside after development, and to eliminate a need for special technics on folding of the air bag. SOLUTION: In an air bag device 1 for a vehicle having a tether 7 located in an air bag 2, in which a vent hole 6 is formed, and regulating a shape after development, the ends on one side of tethers 7a and 7b are arranged in the formation position of the vent hole 6. The ends on one side of the tethers 7a and 7b and the inside cloth 4 of the air bag 2 are separably interjoined through velvet fasteners 10 and 11 to close the vent hole 6. By peeling the ends on one side of the tethers 7a and 7b, stretched along with development of the air bag 2, from the separable joint part, the vent hole 6 is opened.</p> |
