Individual electronic parking meter in which the system for recharging the parking time is based on chip card re-loading. Accordingly a payment chip card is inserted in a slit in the meter for recharging available credit. When a driver parks he displays the meter. A button is pressed such that a remaining park time is displayed starting from an initial value, e.g. 2 hours. The same button can also be used to reset the meter. |
