<p>A liquid crystal display comprising a color filter produced at low cost and having a transmittance or reflectance that does not degrade because of misalignment. The display further comprises a pair of substrates opposed to each other, with a liquid crystal layer interposed therebetween. On one of the substrates, pixels (PXL) are arranged in a matrix. Each pixel has a reflecting part that reflects outside light and a transmitting part that transmits light. On the other of the substrates, color filters having different colors (red, green, and blue) corresponding to the pixels are formed. Each color filter has one or more window portions (CFW) for color adjustment that is provided in a reflective region (CFR) overlapping with the reflecting part inside a pixel region corresponding to each pixel, and has a color density which is equal to zero or lower than that of the other portions.</p> |
