The invention relates to a device for inserting optical fibre cables into sheaths. The inventive device consists of: a support (1) comprising cylindrical rollers (2, 3) which are made from a soft material and which rotate in opposite directions; and an element (7) which is used to support a sheath (8) and which aligns the aforementioned sheath with the optical fibre conductor (4), such that the conductor (4) is inserted into the sheath (8) while being pushed by the rollers (2, 3). Moreover, the device comprises means of supplying compressed air (9) to the inside of the sheath (8) and means of supplying sprayed oil (10) to the optical fibre conductor (4) in order to facilitate the insertion thereof.
