PURPOSE: A crossflow fan is provided to enhance performance of the crossflow fan and reduce noise by preventing a flowing disturbance of air absorbed from an impeller. CONSTITUTION: A crossflow fan comprises an impeller(10) for generating air flow coupled to a motor by shaft(40), a rear guide provided with an outer covering and curved to form a discharging passage of an intake air, a stabilizer for stabling eddy generated at an inner region of the impeller and forming a boundary of a high pressure portion and a low pressure portion, and a guider(50) provided with the front side of the impeller to prevent the flowing disturbance of an intake air. The impeller(10) is composed of a plurality of unit fan(11) connected serially by a boundary plate(15) of a ring shape, and the unit fan includes a plurality of curved blades(13) arranged in a certain distance. An insert protrusion is formed at one end of the blade, and a plurality of blade insert recess is formed at a cylindrical surface of the boundary plate(15) to couple the blade(13) into the boundary plate(15).
