<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent attraction of a coil and a magnet. <P>SOLUTION: A linear motor opening/closing device comprises a longitudinal guide rail 13 which is mounted on a building and provided with a coil 15, and a hanging member 18 which is mounted on the side of a sliding door, provided with a magnet 21 and made movable in the longitudinal direction of the guide rail 13. The device is provided with a restriction means in which a protrusive piece 23 is provided to the hanging member 18 and the protrusion 24 (protruded shape 24a) facing the protrusive piece 23 is provided to the guide rail 13, whereby the position of the hanging member 18 is restricted to always maintain a clearance on the most approach part between the coil 15 and the magnet 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
