The working machine (1) has a piston (3) longitudinally movable inside a cylinder (2). The piston engages in a control slot (6) which is located in the cylinder liner (5) and constructed in such a way that a longitudinal movement of the piston effects a rotational movement of the cylinder. The piston is linearly but not rotatably guided in the cylinder. The piston engages in the control slot by means of a pin (4) which on its control slot end has a rolling bearing (9).
