PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus capable of preventing the transmission of electronic mail from obstructing even if a mail server which is usually used can not be used. SOLUTION: This communication apparatus 1 can register information for a plurality of mail servers 2-5 or the like as a mail server information 14 in a storing part 13. When the server 2 can not be used by the trouble of the mail server 2 usually used, the apparatus acquires other mail server information from the mail server information 14 according to a prescribed priority level, and can transmit the electronic mail to the mail server 3 or the mail server 4. As a result, even if the mail server usually used can not be used, the transmission of emergent electronic mail is prevented from obstructing.
