PURPOSE: A method for purchasing a music file of an optical disk using the Internet is provided to enable a user to select and designate music file information, and request a purchase of the music file by recording the music file information in an optical disk and displaying the music file information as a user selection menu. CONSTITUTION: Navigation data and reproduction control information recorded in an optical disk are read and recorded in a memory(S10). If a user requests a music information list(S11), a control unit reads a music information list table and displays music identification, music title information, price information, and recording section information with respect to a corresponding music file as a user selection menu(S12). The user searches and reproduces a recording position of a selected music title(S13). If the user requests a purchase of the music file(S17), the control unit controls a communication unit, connects to the Internet, and connects to an information supply server which supplies the corresponding music file(S18). The user reads an inherent disk ID, a music identification, or music title information from the memory and transmits the information to the information supply server, and requests a purchase of the music file(S19). The information supply server searches and reads the music file in a database and transmits the music file(S20).
