<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input system capable of executing handwriting inputs by using an electronic pen on a normal display which does not have a tablet or pad. <P>SOLUTION: This input system is provided with a display 103 for displaying information, an electronic pen 102 for successively outputting the position information of a pen tip and the contact information of the pen tip on the display, and a controller 101 for displaying the information on the display 103 based on the position information of the pen tip and the contact information of the pen tip transmitted from the electronic pen in a state that the pen tip position coordinates and display position coordinates on the display are substantially made coincident with each other.
