BIAXIAL ORIENTATION BLOW MOLDING PROCESS

Double blow molding process comprising a first blow molding step for performing biaxial orientation blow molding of a preform into a first intermediate molded item, a step for heating the first intermediate molded item in an oven so as to perform forced shrink molding thereof into a second intermediate molded item, and a second blow molding step for performing blow molding of the second intermediate molded item into a bottle body, wherein the temperature of the second intermediate molded item just before the second blow molding step is adjusted to at least 40°C or at least 50°C higher than the temperature of a metal mold used in the second blow molding step. Conditions for double blow molding can be chosen in conformity with the heat resistance demanded for the bottle body, so that the bottle body having the demanded heat resistance can be obtained in high productivity.
