<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell control device which can keep the difference in the gas pressure between a fuel electrode and an oxidizing agent electrode within a permissible value when a fuel cell is stopped, and prevent any degradation of an electrolytic film. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell stop procedure start determining means 101 determines the start of the stop procedure of the fuel cell. A fuel electrode gas control means 102 controls the fuel gas of the fuel electrode toward the stop condition based on the stop procedure start determination. A gas pressure detecting means 103 detects the gas pressure of the fuel electrode. An oxidizing agent electrode gas control means 104 controls the gas pressure of the oxidizing agent electrode based on the gas pressure detection result and the output of the fuel cell stop procedure start determining means 101 so that the difference in the gas pressure between the oxidizing agent electrode and the fuel electrode is within the upper limit value of the permissible differential pressure, and so that the gas pressure of the oxidizing agent electrode reaches the atmospheric pressure after the gas pressure detected by the gas pressure detecting means reaches the sum of the atmospheric pressure and the upper limit value of the permissible differential pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
