摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain effective utilization of a communication bandwidth even when there exists dispersion in the communication bandwidth in a communication path used for a communication service. <P>SOLUTION: At start of communication service between a user terminal 1 and a server 2, communication apparatuses 31, 32, 41, 42, 51, 52 transmit assignable communication bandwidth information indicative of an assignable communication bandwidth as to a communication path connected to them to a corresponding management apparatus among management apparatuses 6, 7, 8, the management apparatus 6, 7, 8 transit the assignable communication bandwidth information received from the communication apparatuses to an integrated management apparatus 9, the integrated management apparatus 9 sets a minimum communication bandwidth in the assignable communication bandwidth indicated by the assignable communication bandwidth information as an assigned communication bandwidth, transmits a message denoting a value of the assigned communication bandwidth to each communication apparatus via the management apparatuses 6, 7, 8, and each communication apparatus uses the same common communication bandwidth according to the assigned communication bandwidth to perform the communication service. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
