<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer driver program capable of eliminating any margin depending on the selection of an operator when any margin remains in a print result even at the time of enlarging an image indicated by print data by fixed magnification. <P>SOLUTION: A printer driver 55 enlarges a picture indicated by print data by fixed magnification decided based on the size of print paper, and compares the size of the enlarged picture with the size of the print paper. Then, when the size of the picture indicated by the print data is smaller than the size of the print paper in the vertical direction or horizontal direction, an alert dialog box for inquiring whether to enlarge the picture furthermore to an operator is displayed at a display device 12. When the operator selects the further enlargement of the picture in the dialog box, the printer driver 55 enlarges the picture indicated by the print data furthermore to make the size of the picture larger than the size of the print paper in both the vertical direction and horizontal direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
