PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for distributing a still print image for imaging printing by data broadcast in addition to an image of a television program of a main broadcast. SOLUTION: A data separation section 18 separates received digital television data into a main broadcast part and a data broadcast part, a main broadcast processing section 20 processes the separated main broadcast part to generate main broadcast data, a data broadcast processing section 24 processes printing still picture image data associated with the main broadcast video image included in the separated data broadcast part as print data, a module analysis section 26 and a print data processing section 28 generate a print image, and a printer 30 prints out the print image. The still picture data for printing may be a typical still picture of the video image broadcast by the main broadcast or a picture from other aspect associated with the contents of the main broadcast or a picture acting like a digest version of the video image broadcast by the main broadcast.
