PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate manufacture a twisted pair wire. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a first clamp mechanism 30 clamping and supplying two wires (w), a pair of wire guides 43 getting into contact with the supplied wires (w) at two points, a moving guide 2 pressing a middle point of wires between two points where a pair of the wire guides 23 contact and from an opposite side to a contact side of the wire guides 43 and moving to make the wire in a U-shape, a cutting mechanism 20 cutting the U-shaped wire (w) in upstream side and forming a rear terminal, a second clamp mechanism 40 clamping both of front and rear terminals, and a twisting mechanism 50 re-clamping both of the terminal clamped by the second clamp mechanism 40 and rotating the same around the wire (w) in the same direction to twist the wire (w). The twisting mechanism 50 is composed of a horizontal rotation shaft provided with an air chuck 52 provided with clamp claws 51 at a tip thereof and a rotating mechanism for the horizontal shaft.
