PURPOSE: A control device of an analog device using a home network is provided to control an operation of the analog device, and to confirm a product name and a function of the analog device, then to transmit a generated event to a home network device, thereby commanding a predetermined operation in accordance with the event. CONSTITUTION: A modem relays communication with many other home network devices through a home network cable. A controller(300) performs communication with the other home network devices through the modem, generates an A/V(Audio/Video) communication signal, and transmits the signal to an analog device(230). The controller(300) comprises as follows. A middleware(301) controls communication with the other home network devices and the analog device(230) as well as operations of the home network devices. A device driver(303) outputs a control signal to operate each unit of the home network devices. A protocol converter(305) reciprocally converts the A/V communication signal. An interface(307) transmits the A/V communication signal.
